About the Author

The author is a mother, storyteller, lifelong thinker, tinkerer and possibility-seeker from Alberta, Canada.

For more than two decades, she has worked alongside people and communities to imagine new possibilities, explore different approaches and bring wonderfully unconventional ideas to life.

She believes curiosity can open doors, imagination can change perspectives, and sometimes the most remarkable discoveries begin with a simple what if?

She hopes The World Could Use An-Otherer — the very first book in the An-Otherer series — encourages children to wonder, experiment, explore and recognize that their own wonderfully otherly way of seeing the world might lead to something extraordinary.

Somewhere along the way, she began to suspect that perhaps she's been An-Otherer all along.
